On behalf of the whole school community, welcome to the Playford Primary School website.
Our site is designed to provide an outline of the facilities, programmes and an understanding of our beliefs and values that enable a comprehensive learning programme to be provided to all students between Reception and Year 7. The design of the school has incorporated a set of new ecological sustainable developments that enable a more learner-centred approach to be provided.
Playford Primary School opened in 1997 and was originally named Craigmore Primary School. In 1998 it was changed to Playford Primary School and is part of a campus, sharing with Catherine McAuley Catholic School. The school enables a balance of requirements for operating independently whilst sharing resources and regular events on a joint campus.
We are a large primary school with around 600 students and growing. A redevelopment building programme is currently in progress. We have a new staff room, 8 new classrooms and additional offices. The next stage will include additional car parking and some more classrooms. A new gymnasium has also been built. All these facilities enhance our ability to continue to provide a vibrant and challenging learning environment.
We are proud of our school and invite you to explore our website further to learn more about what our school has to offer.
